Correctly identifying the NIU KQi 300X
Please note the exact spelling, KQi 300X. The designations KQi3 and KQi 300 are easily confused but do not refer to the same model. Furthermore, an EU product overview alone does not confirm identical contours for all regional versions.
KQi 300X: Charging port, twist throttle, and deck coating
- NIU specifies a twist throttle and front and rear disc brakes with regenerative braking.
- The EU site describes a redesigned charging port and a modified rear mudguard.
- The deck features an anti-slip coating. The site lists widths of 17 cm and 164.5 mm in different sections.
When preparing a 300X skin, we intend to examine the fixed housing surfaces and their transitions in the chassis area. Curves and attachments determine where a graphic must be segmented.

Why don't we have an exact wrap dimension for the KQi 300X yet?
The manufacturer's site already contains inconsistent width specifications for the deck. Furthermore, a deck width does not define the lateral adhesive surface. Therefore, we will only finalize the wrap contour after performing our own measurements.
Which areas should not be covered by a KQi 300X skin?
The charging port must remain accessible, and the anti-slip deck coating must retain its functionality. The twist throttle and reflectors are also not intended for application. The specific mudguard shape at the rear will be examined separately.
