Statutory rights and voluntary returns

Beyond the statutory rights, we do not grant any general voluntary right of return or exchange. Goodwill arrangements agreed individually remain possible. Your statutory rights in respect of defects remain unaffected, including for personalised products.

No right of withdrawal for genuinely custom-made goods

The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are not prefabricated and for whose production individual specifications of the consumer are decisive, or that are clearly tailored to the consumer’s personal needs.

This may apply in particular to skins with your own name, a personal photo or logo, an individual motif commissioned specifically for you, or agreed special dimensions outside our standard options. What matters is the actual personalisation of the specific order. For such goods, the statutory exclusion applies regardless of whether production has already begun.

The mere fact that an item is printed after the order is received, or the selection of an unchanged catalogue motif, an offered standard model, standard material or standard laminate, does not give rise to such an exclusion.

Information on the right of withdrawal for consumers

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from a sales contract concluded at a distance within 14 days without giving any reason, unless a statutory exception applies.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods. In the case of multiple goods ordered in one order and delivered separately, the day on which you acquire physical possession of the last good is decisive; in the case of goods consisting of multiple lots or pieces, the day on which you acquire physical possession of the last lot or piece. The period does not begin before you have received the information on the right of withdrawal required by law.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement, for example by email or letter:

You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. Neither a reason nor our prior approval is required. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which your withdrawal is received by us. In the case of a complete withdrawal, this also includes the costs of the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us. Supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a more expensive type of delivery will not be reimbursed.

We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless another free-of-charge means of payment has been expressly agreed with you. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest. This does not apply if we have offered to collect the goods.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to Survival Masters – owner Emmanuel Bruderek, Maulbeerkamp 7, 46509 Xanten, Germany, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. This does not affect any assumption of these costs by us that has been expressly agreed. In the case of justified claims for defects, the statutory rules on costs apply.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, and only if you were properly informed of your right of withdrawal. Any such loss in value is assessed and justified on a case-by-case basis.

If these conditions are met, applying, cutting, damaging or soiling the film may give rise to compensation for loss in value. This does not result in a blanket exclusion of the right of withdrawal. The original packaging is not a prerequisite for withdrawal. Please pack your return appropriately to avoid transport damage and, if possible, enclose your name and order number so that we can match it to your order.
