Segway Ninebot F3: does your set fit the vehicle?
Electric Power Red is explicitly described in the product for the F3 and F3 Pro. Do not automatically apply this information to other F3 designs. For the Crimson Dragon Yellow, the appropriate version must be checked separately.
F3 sticker sheet: pairs, lettering, and narrow strips
The pictured Electric Power Red sheet contains long narrow strips, larger side surfaces, and smaller molded parts. Sort these groups on a clean surface without exposing the adhesive side. Place potential left and right counterparts next to each other. Lettering and F3 markings help with orientation but do not replace comparing them with the actual surface.
Decide on the reading direction before applying the first piece. Two strips of similar length may have different angles at their ends. Therefore, check both ends, not just whether the middle fits onto the surface.
Applying Segway F3 skins: six steps
Have the set, its instructions, a clean, lint-free cloth, and the recommended application tool ready. A squeegee protected with a soft edge should only be used if it is suitable for the film.
- Prepare workspace. Switch off the scooter, disconnect the charger, and park the vehicle securely. Work in good lighting and under the conditions specified for the material.
- Clean and dry surfaces. Use an agent suitable for the substrate and the film. Remove dirt from the edges as well. Do not apply to damp surfaces or loose coatings.
- Assign cutouts. Check each part first with the backing paper attached. Use the contours, cutouts, and model features described above. Clarify mismatched parts before peeling.
- Positioning. If dry application is required, peel back only a small area of the adhesive side first. Align the film without pulling. Use water only if explicitly approved for the set.
- Press on gradually. Remove the backing paper bit by bit and smooth the film toward the free edge in a controlled manner. Only make corrections and apply heat according to the processing instructions; do not trim on the scooter.
- Check finish. Inspect edges and cutouts. Lighting, reflectors, markings, controls, and moving parts must remain unobstructed. Observe the specified waiting time before use or cleaning.
Questions about installation on the Segway F3
Are two similarly shaped F3 stickers interchangeable?
Not necessarily. Compare ends, cutouts, and motif orientation with the left and right sides of the vehicle. Leave the backing paper on the part while assigning.
Must the red lines run through everywhere?
Align each part according to its intended surface. Do not force a continuous line path across joints, seams, or separate components. The assignment included with the set is definitive.
Does protective laminate change the installation position?
The position is determined by the cutting shape. For the Crimson Dragon Yellow, there are versions with and without protective laminate; select and check the version you ordered. Processing instructions must match that exact version.
