Even on a walk-around, the larger wheels are noticeable: 14 instead of 13 inches at the front, 13 instead of 12 inches at the rear. There's also a revised braking system, new lighting, and a different seat. For us, however, what matters most is how the overall package feels when riding.
A particularly welcome detail is the battery cover. On our old chopper, it often rattled on manhole covers and other uneven surfaces. On the M1P, it sits much more snugly. This noticeably reduces noise on our ride, although it makes opening it a little stiffer. Consequently, the vehicle is not completely silent on every surface.
You can remove the battery for charging or charge it in the vehicle. This is practical if there is no power outlet available at the parking spot. For assembly after delivery, we would plan for two people – even if we describe the assembly as quite simple in the video.
Riding Feel, Seating Comfort, and Brakes
The M1P is best suited for leisurely cruising, in our opinion. The power delivery feels well-controlled. If you expect a particularly strong thrust with every start, you should manage that expectation: we wouldn't mind a bit more acceleration, but found it sufficient for this ride.
For us, the new seat is more comfortable than the previous one. In the video, you can clearly see the seating position for a person about 1.75 meters tall. Whether it suits you also depends on factors like height and leg length; our impression does not replace your own test sit.
The chopper handles turns pleasantly, and it's also fun on uneven roads. The brakes made a good impression during the ride. This is a subjective assessment during the ride; we did not measure braking distance.
These two points we would still improve
The turn signal switch requires a delicate touch
With gloves, it's not particularly easy to return the switch exactly to the center position. We would find a solution where the turn signal can be switched off by pressing it more convenient. This is a small detail, but it stands out when turning frequently.
One question remains regarding the battery indicator
On our test vehicle, we see bars and a voltage display. We did not find a percentage display during the ride, although it is mentioned in the product description. Before purchasing, it is therefore worthwhile to clarify the display of the currently offered version with the manufacturer.

This is how we rode in the range test
- Test vehicle battery: In the video, we show a removable battery with 60 volts, 30 Ah, and 1,800 Wh.
- Route: A mix of urban traffic and longer sections on main roads, plus minor bumps and different surfaces.
- Driving style: Not a targeted economy run. On longer sections, we rode at full throttle, and slower in between depending on the route. So, the 66.3 km were not achieved consistently at the same speed.
- Observations along the way: In the video, we also talk about headwinds. Rider weight, tire pressure, and outside temperature are not documented as a complete measurement protocol.
What happens when the battery is almost empty?
Towards the end of the ride, performance significantly decreases: the chopper accelerates weaker and becomes progressively slower. In the last few meters, we even had to assist with our feet. The 66.3 km therefore describe the entire test distance until the end of the ride and not a distance over which the M1P continuously maintains its full driving performance.
For your tours, we would plan a reserve and not use the test value as a guaranteed range. The video shows a single ride with our vehicle; the result may differ under other conditions. We have still not conducted a long-term test or a test of rain resistance.

Our Conclusion after the First Ride and Range Test
The revised M1P convinced us on the first ride primarily with its more comfortable seat, improved riding feel, and better-secured battery cover. The improvements are noticeably felt while riding. The turn signal switch and the unclear percentage display remain points of criticism. The 66.3 km from the range test positively surprised us; however, due to the significant power drop at the end, we would plan with a reserve in everyday use.
