Egret X-Series reviewed: Prices, delivery times, and KBA designations

Redaktionelle Übersicht zur Egret X-Serie am 25. September 2026: Preise und Lieferhinweise für core, core+, prime und ultra

Availability check from September 25, 2026, approx. 09:08 AM CEST: The German manufacturer's website lists four variants of the Egret X-series, but they do not have the same delivery times. The X core is listed at 499 euros and two to four working days; the X core+ costs 549 euros and is currently marked as "out of stock." For the X prime and X ultra, Egret lists later estimated dates. These are snapshots from the shop, not a new model announcement.

Prices and delivery details directly from Egret

Model Price on 09/25 Manufacturer delivery info
Egret X core €499 2–4 working days
Egret X core+ €549 out of stock
Egret X prime €899 expected in November
Egret X ultra €999 expected 9–10 working days

The information comes from the model overview on the German Egret X page. A general shipping notice on the same website usually indicates shorter delivery times; for the four specific variants, the respective model details are more informative. Stock levels, promotional prices, and dates can change at any time. Before purchasing, the selected variant should therefore be checked again in the shopping cart.

Which everyday differences matter?

Egret advertises up to 55 kilometers of range for both the X core and X core+, up to 65 kilometers for the X prime, and up to 90 kilometers for the X ultra. The larger figures are manufacturer specifications under test conditions, not guaranteed everyday range. For this, the manufacturer's website cites, among other factors, a constant speed of 15 km/h in Eco mode, 25 °C, a 75 kg load, and a flat asphalt surface. Gradients, cold temperatures, payload, and riding style can alter these values.

According to the manufacturer, all four variants have 12.5-inch pneumatic tires, front suspension, and a maximum German speed of 20 km/h. Compared to the X core, the X core+ primarily increases the stated torque from 24 to 28 Nm. The X prime and X ultra are described as having 41 Nm each as well as front and rear indicators; for the two core variants, the comparison only mentions front indicators. Those who do not need to buy immediately should weigh these differences against price and actual delivery time rather than just comparing maximum range.

What the KBA check shows – and what it doesn't

The official KBA list as of September 18, 2026, lists the trade names "Egret X ultra" and "Egret X prime" under P558. "Egret X core" is listed under P559. These type approval entries date back to 2025 and are not new registrations from today. "Egret X core+" does not appear as a separate spelling among the checked trade names. It does not follow from this that the variant lacks a valid operating permit: classification could occur via type or documentation. Before using it on public roads, buyers should check the specific model designation, the type plate, the provided approval documents, and the insurance sticker.

A further distinction applies to those interested in skins: shared dimensions of the X-series and a KBA classification do not confirm an identical foil fit. Our skin overview lists the options actually offered; for these four variants, we do not promise compatibility without having verified the original geometry.

Note on this article: Prices and delivery times are a dated manufacturer shop snapshot and are subject to change. Ranges are manufacturer specifications. The KBA check identifies trade names but does not replace the verification of documents for the specifically purchased vehicle.
